Notice of Non-Discrimination

Standard HealthCare Service’s College of Nursing (SHC) does not discriminate on the basis of race,
creed, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, national origin or Vietnamera/
disabled veteran, or on any other basis prohibited by federal or state law, in employment or in the
application, admission, operation, participation, access and treatment of employees and students, in
any of SHC’s programs and activities.

As required by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, SHC does not discriminate against
students, employees, or third parties on the basis of sex, including sexual and gender-based
harassment, assault and violence, in any of its educational programs and activities, or employment and
admission decisions. Students, employees, and third parties at SHC are protected by Title IX—
regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or part-time or full-time status—in all aspects of
SHC’s educational programs and activities, including those conducted off-campus.

HealthCare Services. An individual also may contact the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil
Rights (OCR), the agency charged with enforcing Title IX, at OCR@ed.gov.
