December 31, 2020 CARES Act Quarterly Report

To the Standard College Community:

  1. Standard Healthcare Services College of Nursing has signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement and the assurance that the institution will use no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
  2. The total amount of funds the institution received from the Department pursuant to the institution’s Certification and Agreement [for] Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students is $258,154.50.
  3. The total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of Sept. 30, 2020 is $258,172.72.
  4. The estimated total number of students at the institution eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of July 31, 2020 is 370 eligible students.
  5. The total number of students who have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of Dec. 31, 2020 is 369.
  6. As of Sept. 30, 2020, the student portion of the Emergency Financial Aid Grants had been fully disbursed to Standard College Title IV, eligible students. For this reason, the school did not disburse Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students from Oct. 1, 2020- Dec. 31, 2020. Accordingly, there was no further determination on which students would receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants and how much they would receive under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.
  7. There were no further instructions, directions, or guidance provided by the institution to students concerning the Emergency Financial Aid Grants. The full amount of the $258,154.50 Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students had previously been disbursed to Standard College Title IV, eligible students after the Sept. 30, 2020 quarter.
